CLICK ON THE PHOTO TO SEE ENLARGED

This planting caught my eye while driving past.  The colors were so eyecatching we drove back to take a photograph.  The interesting thing, the planting was at a spot on the grounds of a local shopping center and they had them spaced at every drive and corner.  The rest of the plantings were the same leaves but the flowers were begonias, not these red/violet petunias and not nearly as appealing.  I did the best I could from the car and out in the oncoming traffic at the driveins and outs.  I wish the clarity was there in the flowers but, it makes a nice desktop and, I did it.  I may have another shot I haven’t found as yet on another photocard.

  • Dear le, thanks for starting this blog ring. Neat photos. I think that the green leaves are sweet potato.

  • beautiful pictures, but one thing: I have a fairly large screen and still have to scroll side to side to read your comments. Well, atleast I thought I had a large screen. People used to say, “ooh, you have such a big monitor,” and I used to just gush with consumeristic pride, but it’s been a long time since anyone’s said that, probably because now the coolest monitors to have are not only wide but thin, and well, mine definitely isn’t thin. It is a relic, now, a dinosaur. Anything born earlier than 2003 is a dinosaur, you know.

  • Amazingly beautiful
