Weekly Photo Challenge “Candid Camera”
subject comes from ladyblue1
… “CANDID … CAMERA …
Candid, in the real expose’, photos taken un-be-knownst or very quick studies; point-shoot-n-hope.
I have taken some not so great candid shots and a few that were great to catch. I think non-posed captures produce some of the greatest images. For some subjects, like myself, you can only take those candid shots to produce anything decent. I freeze and take horrible photos. It takes all my will power to put photos of myself on the blogs. I’m a Wilson type. When my husband is in control of the camera he has strict direction to take a lot while I’m not looking in hopes of something decent.
Some of my best candid shots taken at Friendship Flea market. The market is held at the same time as a blackpowder shoot. The market has a nightly and weekend dance/bonfire where some of the dancing couples catch your eye. Some conglomerates of my favorite couples.
All of the couples knew photos were being taken but not who or when.
These were fun to take, fun to put together and I love seeing these beautiful couples enjoying the company of each other. Some are husband and wife, grandfather and grand daughter and just good friends. It’s a great feeling to see them dancing.
Have a super week,

Nice grouping. Love in every shot. Yes.
I had trouble finding the place to comment. Nice cosy pics, true to life. Did not know you were so socially orientated.

these are GREAT candids! they make me smile… aaaah, I want to dance now… I do. what a good feeling.
thanks for your comment – I love reflection. I do… I’m seeking out a converging-lines photo for a project… any ideas? Roads, hallways, railroad tracks… I don’t know. My brain is in overdrive and I’m just…. Thinking.
peace to you and have a great week! Tree
Looks like a fun time.
Oops, I mixed up my blog sign-in, so I’ll just say ditto to Dilettanti.
You know, it took me a few seconds before it dawned on me that they are the same couples repeated and merged. It was the second pic that did it…I looked and thought, “that’s a pretty big couple in the middle…and the shorter people on either side are wearing the same gear”…doh!
BTW, thanks for the comments.
nice candid pics
As you may have noticed, the Miles Davis blog is up. Lovely talking to you yesterday. I had barely enough time afterward to get to Walgreen’s and have my photo taken for the required renewal of my security license, before meeting Barbara for dinner at 5:30. Hey, guess what! This comment made reference to a photograph. Fancy that. Here at PhotoGraphics, I mean. LOL.
