Weekly Photo Challenge “Beautiful Sights”

The
Weekly Photo Challenge
subject comes from mommybug… ”Beautiful Sights” …
I haven’t been blessed with world travel but I have seen some really beautiful places. I am always struck with the beauty of flowers, snow, mountains and valleys and many times, man’s own ingenuities. Being married for 40 years, most of what I have seen or done has been shared with my husband and I have to say he has always been central in what I have been witness to. He is my rock and all else that goes with a good marriage. My photo submit is several layers of interest. There is snow and flowers and the central figure in my life. He is ”the sight” that makes me smile. Extremely easy going, casual and good natured, he is “the Sight” that pleases me most.
Keep on taking those photos.

That’s such a beautiful sentiment! I hope one day I find that special someone to spend my life with. Happy St. Patty’s Day!
That was so incredibly sweet! Your husband is very lucky to have a wife that appreciates him like that. I love your submission. Very heart warming!!

Wonderful!!!!
Sweet and inspiring!
some of the best sights are those we might take for granted if we’re not careful! thanks for the reminder!
Very sweet. Thanks for your visit!
Touching devotion.
glad you liked the slideshow!
When I get married, I hope that my “sight” is as true as yours.
btw, I used to be beautydefine.
That was a great job.. putting all the things that you love in one picture..
Hope you and your husband had a great day!
Very sweet!
This is one of the sweetest things I’ve ever read. You make me long for it, and hopefully it’s there in store, somewhere in the (distant) future. You’re blessed, Becca, and it’s clear you know that. I’m happy for you two.
RYC: The bridge was one of my personal favourites, too. I walked the length of it twice, and it was an amazing feeling. To be honest, though, I was using both my camera (for the photos) and my cell while I was up there, so I was just hoping beyond hope that I wouldn’t trip and drop them into the water below. (I didn’t.)
I’m sure he feels the same about you.
That’s a beautiful montage. It proves that heartwarming “sights” can be found as close as your own front door.
Nice work on the surround–and of course the central figure is obviously easy on your eyes
WoW, how moving! Isn’t it wonderful to be totally fulfilled with a long term relationship? So many people miss that these days. May your marriage be an inspiration to others!
What a lovely sentiment . . . and how very lucky you both are.
I love it
Dear Becca,
Thank you for the visit and for mentioning my roommate Joel. He was in remission for a year, but the cancer came back, and is situated throughout the lymph nodes around his intestines and stomach, so there is nothing the doctors can do except give him another round of chemotherapy. He gets dosed every Thursday. He is now undergoing nausea and his hair has started to fall out. He is still a stubborn procrastinator, and he did not take my advice during the two years he had cancer and didn’t feel bad, about using his inheritance to travel or do things he’s always wanted to do. He’s one of those people who doesn’t really want to do anything except sit around and drink beer and watch TV. His computer, which he bought after he first received word he had contracted cancer, sits unused in his bedroom. One thing he did do is to buy a new car.
Has your cancer disappeared?
I was in awe of your photo of all your puters. I have four desktops, but only use the latest, purchased late in 2005. The others are actually nothing but wasted space. My first experience was in 1996 using Windows 3.1 at work. Eventually I got a CAD program for designing control panels at work, and then I got my first home machine in 1998 and created my website in 1999.

Wonderful essay. I always enjoy visiting you, and having you visiting me.
Nice to meet your Family Becca. Look like I have succeeded in getting in.
