  • Weekly Photo Challenge “Surreal”

This weeks subject is suggested by A_storm_in_Heaven

    Surreal

    “Having an oddly dreamlike quality”

I am giving this subject matter a shot.
I have displayed only one photo I felt really fit the subject.
Anyone looking can decide an opinion for themselves.

This taken from a vantage point at the Mt. Notre Dame Academy in Reading, Ohio

This image taken on a trip towards Louisiana.
It rained from Cincinnati clear to our destination.  It was one terrible drive.

    WP_Surreal3

Northbound early morning I-75 Cincinnati to Columbus, Ohio

    WP_Surreal4

A super storm in the works.  The view from the Home Depot parking lot, auto mall off I-75

    WP_Surreal5

Same storm, photos taken from the Home Depot lot.

    WP_Surreal6

A view from the local Chili Parlor window.
I really love this photo and have others taken the same day, just as interesting.

  • Well, what can I say? Beautifully clear photos that do tell a very real story. Each one has it’s own tale to tell. I think the light is as near perfect as you can get. I wouldn’t want to change it. Great Stuff Becca! Each photo is enhanced with the now famous Becca internal border which is about the only thing you can do to these to make then even more interesting than they already are. These delicate, and yet unobtrusive borders have become synonymous with your photographic art almost like a trade mark. Thanks for sharing. – Tim

  • Lots of interesting photos to look at here. First, the background of the plants is just gorgeous. The leaves look so lush. What is that growing there? Is that in the yard?

My favs of your entries are the storm-cloud shot from Home Depot parking lot (looks fish eye–very cool) and the one from the window (yes, very interesting).

Sorry I’ve been absent for a few days. I just haven’t been very motivated for a few days, so I’ve been throwing all my energy into getting Eden ready for her trip.
