Weekly Photo Challenge, “Peace”
A short edit: My daughter Halie is having A BANNER CONTEST for anyone interested. Read her Xanga blog CLICK HERE.
the subject is:
”Peace”
Suggested by: CanadianNationalI interpreted “Peace” as “Peaceful”. I believe color, conditions and environment can lend to a peaceful state of mind or view. A few of my photos I feel exhibit a “Peaceful” mood or a feeling of “Peace”.
A day of fun and relaxation on Loveland Ohio’s bike trail is “Peaceful” if the bicycles are worry free, the trees are fresh and green, the flowers are blooming and there are pleasant spots for sitting and indulging in some snacks.
Easter Sunday feeding the ducks and a picnic at the lake is “Peaceful”.
This Alice Through the Looking Glass child was enjoying her Easter Sunday in her “Peaceful” setting of choice.
Flowers give me a feeling of pleasure and pleasure is “Peaceful”.
As powerful as a locomotive is when the side yards are inactive all is quiet and “Peaceful”.
A pleasant visit with a friend under the shade of the trees with no argument, no upset and no rain clouds equals “Peaceful”.
I have been spending time this week organizing my pages with tags and titles. I almost have this site finished. Tags are a nice way to sort out your pages so anyone visiting can look through quickly to make some discoveries per your entries. For instance, one of my tags reads WeeklyPhotoChallenge. If you click on the tag all of my challenge titles come up in its listing. It has been a bit of work but it really is nice.
Have a great week and enjoy taking your photos.

These all say peace in different ways, i second your fellings about the train.
these are great- I agree on your interpretation of peace…
Wonderful peaceful photos! I also love your new fall background. Kids are on fall break today so we are going to the mountains, I hope to have lots of peaceful photos to choose from!
Wonderful photos. I especially love the third one.

Great pictures
RYC – yes we did drive up Mt. Scott, we climbed a small hill called Little Baldy with the kids though!
RYC – I love showing off our corner of the world. Hubby says I am the unofficial Oklahoma state tourist board!!
When families are together in a place of beauty …peace can be found.
The photos of the girl feeding the ducks and the two men under the shade of the trees seem to me freh and peaceful .
About tags I read today cancer diagnosis on the left . I hope all is healed completely now , Becca .
Love
Michel
Hoping you’re having a peaceful weekend.
Eden and I are, at The Lost Dog in Berryville, VA. We went to The Glow last night, but sadly, the wind was too high for the pilots to put up the actual balloons. I’ll give the details on my site, I suppose.
Nice graphics BeccaI think you answered the challenge well. Looks peaceful to me.
You have another vote for the Alice pic from me.
Beautiful photos! Peaceful in deed!

peace is where we find it. no less essential in personal moments than in global affairs.
Nice place that park.
like the one with the overlays… has a softness to it…
The first one is my favorite.
Great photos representing peace.
True, these are peaceful scenes here, I liked your ‘Green’ page too!
About the metal ball, it’s a nice idea if it was made of melted down weaponry but I couldn’t find anything about it on their website here. Maybe the artist would have more light to shed on that.
I love all of these photos. I even wrote a little poem for them. I call it “All that one needs.”
It goes like this.
Vivid greens
Peaceful scenes
The sky’s kind of gray
That’s alright
There are ducks, there are trains,
And flower waterstains,
Halloween background
What a fright
FABULOUS!! Gorgeous colours in the photos, too. P.S. Love the background.
I’m wondering how I can invite some of the challenge members to participate in my contest. Have any ideas?
they are quite picturesque…nice framing
