You’ve made a fine and festive desktop to share. I like the plants amongst the pumkins and your angled shot.
And the same to you! as a child in england we celebrated Harvest Festival which i think must be about the same as Thanksgiving, there was a church service with the fruit and vegetables of the season in a grand display before the altar,
Sometimes on these Blogs I get stuck. I like what I see but I guess it is a bit like writer’s block you just don’t know how to put it any a suitable way, so the danger is you say nothing, then you stand the risk of upsetting the Artist because he or she has seen you in the “Footnotes” and knows you have visited but assumes the worst as you have said nothing. Well the truth is this that on occasions I get so utterly awestruck by your efforts that I remain speechless, and dumbstruck when I see your creativity.

Happy Homecoming! I know the effort it is to drive all the way here, and I hope you know how much I appreciate your coming–and how much I appreciate and love you. There is never enough time to do all the things we would like to do when we get together, but what we did accomplish was all good. I have looked a bit through here and as always I must say that you have the best ‘eye’ with a camera of anyone I know–or anyone whos work I have seen–except maybe Ansel Adams–but you’re darned close. Hugs to Johnny for me as I didn’t get nearly enough. Love to all. See you in June with my work boots on. Me
