Weekly Photo Challenge, “My best friend”
the subject from slocyn is:
“My Best Friend”
I have been fortunate to have always had good friends. I have some lovely Internet friends, some really fine neighbor friends and I grew up with some very close childhood friends. My best friend for most of my life though has been my husband. Our daughter adores him and I can’t think of a person who dislikes him. For myself, I never grow tired of being around him and our 40th Anniversary was New Years eve.
My Best Friend
I am not a lucky person. I never win a thing but when it comes to husbands, I really got lucky. Someone was watching over me.
Have a great week and keep on taking those photos.

great when you get to marry your best friend!
Good photos
A lot of different moods, but one great face. Who’s better than a beloved husband? The apron is of interest, does he cook too? Well, that would be too lucky!

Yeah. My folks have been married 40 years, too. And they are best friends. There have been ups and downs, but they have stuck together. That’s what matters.

RYC:: Willie is half toy fox terrier and half Chihuahua, to me a perfect combination, hes 10 lbs, of personality and love and his fur is so sleek and soft! I also have a Sheltie and a new Chihuahua puppy. I browsed your site and your pictures are wonderful!!!!!
@PhotoMom1216 - Thank you so much for the information. I don’t know if I can get a dog but yours is perfect for me, the looks, the size and now armed with the information you gave me I may be able to discover a similar pet. I would like a female and I think I’ll start looking. If I find the perfect dog my hubby might fall for it too. I’ll show him a pic of your dog sometime tomorrow when he is home from work.
Thanks for the nice words about my photos. I appreciate it a lot.
Try this site out Petfinder.com: Adopt a pet and help an animal shelter rescue a puppy or kitten.
i found lots of similar dogs in my area, who knows your baby might be there waiting for you, when i got willie i was actualy there for a different puppy a poodle mix but when i saw willies pink nose and tiny little head looking at me i fell imediatly in love! When you meet the right one you instantly know it good luck finding your new baby please keep in touch!
@PhotoMom1216 - Thanks a lot for the link. I have been to it peeking around and know it has to be networked all over the United States but think its terrible when I see the numbers of dogs having to be rescued. Really sad people treat pets this way. No telling how many other pets as they list all kinds.
Anyway, If I do anything serious, I will be sure to let you know. My husband was looking a bit with me so he may be more receptive than I thought. It all boils down to the expense of a pet. We’ll see and thanks so much again. I really appreciate your sending the link. It’s a very good link.
