Weekly Photo Challenge, “Favorite Music Style”
Visit and play the
Weekly Photo ChallengeI like a lot of different music. I have experienced listening to everything from Country / Bluegrass to fifties Rock and Roll to Jazz and a bit of Hard Rock in my home. I have favorite country singers like Willie Nelson and Hank Snow but my orders if I am ever in need of being wired for sound, while off somewhere in a state of unconscious is to, wire me to the classics. http://www.classicalarchives.com/
A recall of an Austrian folk song for children which we sang in school choir, called, the Orchestra song and I only remember our use of set 1, 2 and 4 below. The song was sung in rounds, children were grouped according to the number of sets being used then each sang their set and then all voices combined to sing all sets at the same time. It was a lovely way to learn music appreciation of an orchestra.

1- I have a preference for music that has possibilities of undulating like the twists and turns of a road.
2- I enjoy music that can sound as soft as the wings of a bird in flight hundreds of feet in the air
3- or voice and notes that can reach the deepest of blues,
4- or the most tumultuous of stormy grays,
5- with the ability to reflect all emotional possibilities.
6- The colorful notes of the Fiddle playing Bluegrass and otherwise can be exciting and fun
7- but the sounds of a Violin within a full orchestra accompanied by a concert Piano and Oboes and Cello and ??? are more likely to reach into the deepest of my sleeps to medicate me.
Thanks always for your comments and enjoy taking those photos.

Not sure if I covered all of your favorite music in my first “Blast From the Past” that I linked this morning — but I think I did.
A really lovely way to describe how music touches you, and what touches you about the music. A lovely approach to the challenge. Really nice photos. Music really is, as you say, about touching the deep places and externalizing them for us. Lovely post- great job. -g
Really an innovative approach to the topic!! lovely!! I did not know how to approach this topic. You did well and your photo’s are as always great. Well done!
Very nicely put Becca. I can see your poetic side swinging into action here. The way you describe music with regard to your pictures is truly artistic and fits the theme to a tee. So nicely put. ~ Tim
Your pictures are always art!
